Absolutely you can - a dear friend of mine who lives in Hull just recently got married in a Pagan ceremony there.

Congrats!

May the Lord and Lady rain blessings on your union!

I'm not sure how you'd find a Pagan Prist/ess, but there MUST be some sort of online networking going on.

i do not know about the UK. but here in the states (it is governed by each state)
i happen to be in Maryland. and as far as Maryland is concerned
any minister that is granted the rights to marriage by his church can preform a legal ceremony. my ordination is through the ULC right now. as soon as my grove is 2 years old we will apply for a federal not for profit status as a religious organization. this will open a few more doors for us.

as to finding a Wiccan Priest/Priestess, they are usually pretty accepting of other systems and beliefs. it should not be all that hard.

congratulations
and best wishes

Hand fasting is the ancient Celtic Pagan ritual that would be the equivalent to a modern marriage. but it is a spiritual and a physical ceremony.

it is also designed so that if the people should come to a point where they no longer love each other that they can separate in peace.

it can last a set am mount of time or be permanent.

most will be for a year and a day at first and then after that time
there will be another ceremony to make it a permanent bond.

I'm not sure about the UK. You might like to contact your local city hall (do they call it city hall in the UK?) and find out. I know I can get married legally by a priest or priestess, but I'm not in the UK.

As for a priest/priestess to marry you, try http://www.witchvox.com

They have listings of witches from all over the world and possibly will be have some listed in your area.

Congratulations!

In the US, there are licensed officiants who will perform handfastings for Wiccans, even those who are not of their Coven, and I would imagine that there'd be those in the UK who would do the same.

http://www.witchvox.com/vn/vn_index/xclergy.html might offer a place to start looking. Good luck!
