It seems being about 6' and 260 lbs. makes most women avoid me like the plague.

When I go to bars and clubs it seems like I have so many better looking guys to compete with. It's like I'm not even there.

I've been the same weight for years. I barely eat 1,000 calories a day as it is. It's doubtful that I'll put on anymore weight.

Why should you? You don't have to. Even if you are overweight, and being that tall, you probably aren't that much overweight - and a lot of that could be muscle.. some women like men with meat. I am a woman with meat.. and I've dated men who love to have someone squishy to hug and cuddle with. I am the same. I don't like bony guys....
Good luck! :)
Don't go to bars, thats where the less desirable women hang out.... are you looking for just a one night stand? That is often what those women are..... Get involved in a singles club, join a church, join a gamers league.. there are tons of places to meet nice women.

You shouldn't, you should do it for you. The chances are you are going to keep putting on weight and this will physically affcet your health. You will develop heart and lung problems and shorten your life. You don't need to total change everything, why not walk home from work a couple of times a week and leave the car at home, small changes will make a lot of difference, eat an apple instead of candy.

The problem is, you arent finding the right women. There are dating groups out there for large people. You could also go to yahoo and put in a profile there. Relax. You just arent meeting the right women. Frankly, I dont see your height and weight as all that bad a thing.
Besides, some women find that sexy.. ;)

...if you dont think you need to lose weight then DONT.... i feel like this... if you feel comfortable with yourself..... and your size isn't causing you health problems... then the decision is totally up to you whether you want to lose weight or not.... and stop competing with other guys and people around you... be yourself and be proud to be who you are... and think about it... do you want a women who is so shallow that she can't look beyond the outside appreance and be with somebody that loves, appreciates, respects and cherishes her beyond reason??... HELLL no.... know that you are capable of being loved and longed for just like the guy across the bar with the "killer body".. i hate when people use weight as a way to explain their reason for not being attracted to someone.... if you ask me...shallowness is not attractive at all!!!.... alot of times the "hot" guy in the bar is also the one with the uncontrollable "hot" temper and..... irrestable urge to cheat... and possibly knock you upset your head if they don't get their way... yes indeed.... many times it is the drop dead gorgeous men that hurt the ladies the most.... i honestly think that if you find somebody that is worth being with and investing real emotion with... that if you show your true colors and show that you are genuine and caring and that you are willing to invest time and effort in getting to know and form a lasting loving relationship.... you will soon find someone who willl truely love you.....all 260 lbs!!!..... if someone is not willing to understand and accept the goodness in somebodys heart... then THEY are the one who needs to change.... and do some evaluating... not you....
GOOD LUCK!!!!

Your motive to lose weight should not be for t he benefit of others, ie, attracting women. You should lose weight for yourself, like feeling good and healthy. I always had the wrong impression that i had to be thin to get a bf so i worked out 5 days a week for 3 yrs, but i realized that i was working out for myself so i would feel good and healthy, i work out only 3 times a week now and i do it just to feel good, and when you feel good,it shows in ur personality that u are more confident. although i may be a bit heavier than when i worked out 5 days a week, i am more confident and more men hit on me caus im cool with myself. So work out to be healthy! Good luck hun!

You shouldn't lose weight. If they don't like you for who you are then it's not worth it. You'll find the right person who likes you no matter what. Stick to your personalty not your life.
