I harvest my horseradish every year about this time.

Just peel your roots so no dirt or dark areas are on them. cut in smaller pieces and put in your food processor. While the processor is running and chopping it all up pour in some plain white vinegar till the mixture is a thick saucy consistency. No need to measure.

DO this outside or your eye may end up burning for a couple of days in the house !!

I jar mine up and get it in the freezer where it stays for many months or till I give it for gifts.

It is fabulous and soooooooooooo easy. Go ahead and try different types of vinegar for a taste testing. ENJOY !

i haven't any recipes that contain cooking with horseradish, yet I do positioned it in potato salad, deviled eggs, specific chilly sauces like remoulade, blue cheese and horseradish mixed mutually to positioned on applicable of a filet mignon, shrimp salad. And yeah, it particularly is super in bloody mary's. confident, i've got tried those issues and that they are extremely stable. Sorry, i don't have the recipies to repeat down for you. i'm previous and previous schoo,l so maximum of my cooking is from memory.
