Ladies, when you?

Question

string a guy along, do you realize you're doing it, or does it just kind of happen? Any of you actually settle on the one you were stringing along? Now before I get smeared, I understand not all of you do that. I am just asking a hypothetical for anyone willing to admit they have in the past or do now.

I watch my friend do this crap all the time, and she knows shes doing it. There is this really cool male nurse that would just love to be with her and she uses him to help her with her nursing stuff in college. He would do anything for her and she strings him along. So I go and try and hook him up with another girl and she won't give me his phone number, and tells me he's a dork and that my friend really wouldn't like him. BS

Not only is she stringing the male nurse along but also two other guys. So shes not hung up on this guy in any way.

And to be honest, I have played a few games in the past. I wasn't what you would call a "player" or a "ho", but sometimes it was nice to have the guys really give you the attention. I didn't use them for money or possessions but just to boost my own ego when I was down. I didn't string any guy along forever that wasn't playing the game also.

My friend has strung this male nurse out for over two years now. Pretty screwed up.

I don't want to, but I can admit I've doen this before. It really kinda just happened, frequently, but I think I really didn't like the guys and that was the way I dealt with not going any further in the relationship. I got help and now I've been stringing free for 3 1/2 years.

If by stringing you mean leading someone on, it happens. Sometimes you just don't realize you're flirting, i know with me its like autopilot..I see a guy, I flirt automatically, no matter what, usually without actually meaning to. In the process, yes some guys take it the wrong way and think you want something you dont..

I'm not gonna lie; I've strung guys along before, and known perfectly well what I was doing.

Sometimes, girls string guys along because we have bitchy tendencies. Sometimes, we know a guy likes us, and we still want tobe close to them, but we don't feel the same way and don't know how to let them down. And, sometimes, we really don't know we're doing it.

We don't know why we do these things; just like guys don't know why they like to sweat and be manly. Guys think they don't understand girls, hell, we don't even understand ourselves.

I haven't but my friend has, if she knew a guy really liked her and she didn't back she would use that to her adantage to get favors like take me here and expect him to pay for things. Or come over to hang out because she's bored. Just a guy to be there at her every beck and call. She's see's him as only a friend and will never date him.

Women like to keep a backup whether they realize it or not I don't care...my husband was a "backup". Long story short I fell in love with him and have been with him ever since. But you should know that I have had many backups and he is the only one I truly considered.

personally, I've never done this. but I think the women that do know exactly what they're doing. and I think it's mean, inconsiderate, and a very disrespectful thing to do to a guy. I suggest that if you have someone doing this to you, it's time to get her out of your life, she'll cause you nothing but heartache.

I haven't done that, but from experience because of friends of mine, i know that it's not always on purpose. Sometimes girls only do that because they don't want to hurt the guy, not all girls do it just to be mean.
