Every major scientific milestone has brought with it initial rejection, even by scientists themselves. It has also brought a new round of "Well, I guess this proves there is no God....."
Yet in the end, it is ultimately accepted and just because it changes our view of the world, it doesn't show us a world God couldn't have created or exist in.
I'm sure we'll all see it again and again......

Ok I have heard many say, that, evolution has been proven, I have never seen any proof just like the web page that you put a link to in your question, Ok where is this so called proof? You cannot prove anything with theories!!!!!!! Don't you think that these theories are just blind faith, I do, there is not a shred of evidence at all of what you state as facts,Look I f I say to you that God exists would you take my word for it?No, I didn't think so. Yet you think that I should believe your dreams, No offence meant but, you're a dreamer! you say that evolution is proven well where's this proof I have not found any, nor do you reference any real proof! Sorry but I do not call heresay proof what is your so called education without proof Ok enough saidI have seen many many claims of so called proof without any real evidence at all

By the expression, "evolution was proven true", I assume you are referring to macro evolution in which one species gradually changed into another?
Are you SERIOUS? Surely you must be aware (as an 'educated' person) that there are numerous SCIENTIFIC AND MATHEMATICAL problems with that.
For YOUR information, macro evolution has NEVER BEEN PROVEN TRUE. And neither can it.
Edit.
For Terese C: Please don't say evolution is just a theory. For the scientific mind, that's just as good as saying it has been proven. There is a progression : hypothesis, then theory, then law. Evolution never passed the 'hypothesis' stage.
In Darwin's time, theory meant theoretical, which is what most people mean today. However, for the scientist, 'theory' means that the idea (hypothesis) has been proven true experimentally. When Darwin spoke about 'my theory', he had the first meaning in mind. But the word has changed meaning SCIENTIFICALLY. When the word 'theory' is mentioned in scientific circles today, it is ASSUMED that there was a hypothesis stage but that it has progressed beyond that to a theory.

"Now secular morality is adapting into faith. it rather is been for somewhat a while, yet now the ordinary public of the Earth believes in one God or yet another. isn't it then, via scientific concept, risk-free to assert that non secular each and every person is more advantageous human beings?" that's the area of what you wrote that I merchandise to, maximum. You mentioned that Now the ordinary public of the earth believes in one God or yet another. yet somewhat frankly, that has been real perpetually. the classic human beings in the Americas had their gods, the classic Egyptians, Babylonian, and chinese language had THEIR gods, alongside with the Romans and Greeks. somewhat frankly this theory of religion isn't a sparkling theory that got here approximately with the creation of Christianity, which you're implying. the certainty that one faith can dominate for a time yet fade away makes me suspect that the comparable will take place with Christianity on the instant. What it boils right down to, for my area, is that the certainty that Christianity, Islam, and Judaism are the dominant religions in various the western worldwide on the instant via no ability ability that this is to any extent further useful. each and all the comparable inconsistencies are there!

Religion was not at all affected. There were a few groups who believed the Bible must be taken word for word, but they just stuck their heads in the sand.
By the way, you can be educated and not click on the link you provided. The term for the shape of the Earth is "oblate spheroid", not "elliptical".

Do not loose your temper, take a chill pill! We all believe what we want to believe, and we choose what we want to choose! Religious people usually are those who have lost the power to reason, If only they could reason they would understand things much better, Dependency is the biggest disease, if only man could understand this, and take the responsibility of understanding life on his own true terms he would have been happy on this earth, but some who have chosen to reason out are happy and clear as you are. We all need our own path of growth, let them live in darkenss, that is their comfort zone. They do things because everyone is doing, thats their life pattern. they are never happy, religious people are the most unhappy ones.

It's not the earth that's elliptical, it's the path of the earth around the sun that is elliptical.
I ready your "reasoning" and honestly don't find much worth arguing with. You call yourself "thoughtful", and I'm sure you can be that, but when you discuss subjects like this, you seem to put that part of yourself away. I have discussed with thoughtful nonbelievers, and find it interesting. Here, I just see a lot of insults without any thoughtfulness.

I think evolution was part of Gods plan, God is in nature. I dont think we are meant or capable of knowing how he did this. God relates to us what is importaint through the Bible, Adam and Eve could just have been a starting point from which God wanted us to know about his plan but things existed before that as we all know how it relates to Gods plan I hope we will all find out in the end. Thats my two cents...

First of all evolution isn't proven, it is a THEORY so educate yourself about the meaning of theory. Second, the church never believed the sun rotated around the earth or that the earth was the center of the solar system so give me proof of the opposite please. Third, if you're talking about Jesus Christ when you say 'violent prophet' he was never violent towards people.
Christianity has survived in spite of the theory of evolution because it is the truth.

People need hope they there is a purpose of life rather than just living to live. Everything has to have a purpose in some people's eyes. Plus it's not so disturbing when a loved one dies if you 'know' they are going to a better place.
