Faith of the religious kind is the antithesis of rationality and reason because faith without evidence or proof is blind faith.
Through faith alone you can believe in anything you choose so it is not a valid tool of knowledge, it is more like wishful thinking.
If you have evidence or proof of something you don't need faith at all to believe in it.

My definition of faith is beleiving in somthing that can not be seen but I know it exsist. An example is the "wind" it can not be seen but it's real because it can be felt.
