I need to get a wisdom tooth pulled, but in the mean time my mouth is in intense pain. Is there something I can do until this is taken care of?

Try chewing up an asprin on the side it hurts, then let it sit on the tooth for a little bit...till it dissolves, should took away some of the pain

I have an abcess right as i'm typing this. And i have been taking advil. it totally takes the pain away. If 2 doesn't do it then 3 will. Just until you can see the dentist. And i've had it once before, and the dentist that i went to, pulled my molar out even with an abcess. i was very thankful!! He gave me antiobiotics and told me to take tylenol or whatever works for you for the pain.

Your dentist should have given you something for the pain. Call him/her and ask for a prescription of percocet or tylenol 3. Other than that, I don't know what you would take. No aspirin though, it's a blood thinner.
