I'm looking for a teapot that can be used on the stove?

Question

My grandma's teapot broke awhile ago and she has missed it terribly. I was wondering if anybody knew where i could purchase one. Here's some of the details that i could remember ----

She says it was a Pyrex but i'm not sure what it was.

It held at least 10 cups of water

It was wider in the middle

You could boil the water directly on the stove in it.

ok...... pyrex is a type of glass that is super strong so you can put hot stuff in it. it is really good quality. i would advise you to go to a department store in your local area but a large store. every department store sells stove teapots........ these days, you can actually purchase kettles that look like teapots so maybe you should consider that for her. less fiddling around so she can enjoy her cuppa quicker. you can get them also from a department store.

Ok you are actually looking for a tea kettle not a tea pot. You can pick those up at Walmart etc. For a really nice one, see www.adagio.com

Check any of your discount stores, Fred Meyers , Shop-co , etc. They carry a lot of different brand names & styles. Maybe one of those would match your grandmothers.
