Ford Taurus! or Ford Focus! I can tell you from experience! I wanted to be "cool" and get a Mits. Eclipse with alot of miles on it, it was SMALL and was breaking down all the time. For college you need to get a car that is roomy, and that will get you from point A to point B, thats it! You will be so busy in college with a job and studying you wont have time to show off your car, and truely nobody CARES if its a street car or not! Trust me, get a ford Taurus or Ford Focus, DEPENDABLE cars that is roomy, and the best price for the buck!

Probably a japanese car, because of the reliability. The less miles, and better the condition, the better the car. Have a look at Toyota Celicas, Nissan NXs, Honda Preludes, etc, all sporty spunky affordable coupes. From 1993 on, these strated becoming very very reliable, again tho, low miles is a good thing. Most 90's japanese cars will do about 130- 200,000 miles if well serviced and not driven too hard, try to buy one done 70-80 000. Hope this helps!

wow, you are lucky to have parents that will even consider getting you a car/truck. even better if they are going to pay for the insurance, tags, title and registration. you need to research what the cost will be as far as upkeep of a car/truck that you like, what the proposed cost of insurance that will be imposed on the said vehicle, the resell of the car/truck after four years, the maintenance cost while you have it (tires being the main cost).
there isn't a true red-blooded teenager in the U.S. that isn't into a sporty car, control that feeling if you can, get one when you can buy your own and have more driving experience to lower the insurance payments, a truck would seem more practical seeing that you will be going to college and may need to haul your stuff
up there, but don't even think that you will get a "newer" model because trucks seem to hold there value a long time more than
cars. the best bet is to keep it practicable and safe knowing that you have a long life ahead of you and eventually be able to get what ever you want.

you could shop on your coverage via study rates at DEALSQUOTE.info- RE Do mothers and fathers somewhat assume their teenagers in highschool to pay for his or her own autos? Its enraging as quickly as I hear my mothers and fathers/mothers and fathers frequently tell their teenagers, who've their licenses to "pay for a vehicle your self". no longer even a chop up? A loan? those teenagers are nonetheless in highschool! Even after highschool in college, I do purely no longer see how you will pay for even a "inexpensive" used vehicle themselves except they devote their existence and shop each and every penny for the damn vehicle. those that age many times earn on the factor of minimum salary, and in the event that they spend all their time working as a replace of analyzing, this is all their ever going to make. Ex) my chum earns 9.25 hourly at a food market (he's worked there for a jointly as so its no longer suitable minimum salary), and works 40 hours a week. he's often at artwork. on the tip of the week, his exams are nicely worth approximately 338 after taxes. A crappy used vehicle is probably approximately 5000? i'm no longer totally particular. somebody that age might ought to artwork 40 hours a week for somewhat an prolonged time. in view that they're youngsters, that would exceedingly plenty leave them no time for analyzing/doing homework and a social existence frequently. do no longer mothers and fathers prefer their toddlers to accomplish nicely academically besides? apart from economic matters of their own, why would not a discern with a good volume of money atleast comply with help their in charge teenager pay for a used or inexpensive vehicle? i'm no longer suggesting form new BMWs or mercades, yet why in comparison to an 06/07 used toyota or honda in good condition? Why no longer comply with help pay for.0.5 or a smaller fraction of it? and don't they fall sick of their teenagers consistently employing their autos? What do you think of?
