Pacman's next fight is really dependent on the outcome of the nastiness going on between GBP and Top Rank. "De La Hoya and his Los Angeles-based Golden Boy Promotions, are asking the Los Angeles Superior Court for unspecified damages and a court order preventing Arum’s Top Rank Inc. of Las Vegas from promoting Pacquiao’s next fight, slated for March."
At Manny Pacquiao's victory press conference held at Manila City Hall, the Filipino superstar discussed the recent talk of him fighting undefeated WBA super featherweight champion Edwin Valero.
“All Valero’s opponents were tricycle drivers,” Pacquiao said.
Pacquiao said that he would prefer a bout against WBC champ Marco Antonio Barrera, but said that if Valero wants him in March, he will be in very "big trouble." Also, the Barrera rematch promises to put 5million plus in Pacman's bank account. Stay tuned.

He'll probably wind up fighting Barrera because that's the biggest name and the biggest money fight out there for him at the moment, but i would love to see a rematch with Juan Manuel Marquez. A lot of people think Manny actually lost that fight and that he was lucky to get a draw despite knocking Marquez down three times in the first round. I think Manny has something to prove against Marquez. But he may have something to prove against Barrera as well. I'm sure he wants to prove the their first fight was not a fluke as many thought it was. That's why i think he'll fight Barrera instead.

Pacquiao wants Barrera, Bob Arum wants Edwin Valero, and Oscar Dela Hoya wants Arum for stealing Pacquiao.
Pac has said that he is not impressed by Valero's record and that he hasn't fought anyone worth mentioning. He said that if Valero really wants him he should be careful, implying he's not ready for Pacman. Manny really wants Barrera to get his belts but since Barrera belongs to Dela Hoya, Bob Arum doesn't seem to be interested.

What's next for Manny is to fight Marco Antonio Barrera and keep avoiding Juan Manuel Marquez. I really don't get his logic he other than greed. He thoroughly beats and destroys Barrera in their first fight to the point where there's no one in boxing calling for a rematch and yet a fighter who he knocks down three times in the first round and still only gets a draw, he wants nothing to do with? Come on, Marquez is the only good fight out there for him and Freddy Roach and Manny both refuse to mention his name.
Juan Manuel Marquez made an adjustment in the second round and figured out Manny's mad rush style, he thoroughly outboxed Manny over the next ten rounds and Manny was lucky to get the draw. Manny is so one demensional, he's often off balance after he throws his devestating lefy hand because he brings his rear foot (left) forward whenever he throws it.
Why won't Manny fight Juan? People always want to say Manny is the best fighter out there, these are the same people that are calling Floyd Mayweather "Great" Manny beat up a very beaten up Morales (twice) he beat a very out of his prime Barrera and people want to hindge his greatness on these four fights? Give me a break. He should fight the very best out there to be the best and he has to fight Marquez to achieve greatness.

He wants to fight Barerra to prove that their first fight wasn't a fluke win. His promoter Bob Arum wants him to fight Edwin Valero though, the Venezuelan boxer who's record is 20 wins in 20 kos. Either way, it'll be an exciting fight.
