The book says that we are already healed. Jesus paid for our healing at the cross. By His stripes we are healed. So my question is why don't people believe it and receive their healing and tell sickness to get out of their body? Why do they believe doctors and choose not to believe God? If you won money, you would receive it, so why not receive your healing and be made whole?

This sounds like a book from those same people who would say to a terminally ill patient "if you had enough faith, you could be healed, but obviously you don't". People may pray for healing and not receive it, that doesn't mean they are weak in faith. It means that God's ways are not always our ways.

P.S. I have utter contempt for those who would suggest a terminally ill person is "weak" in their faith if they do not receive "healing"!!

The book can tell you just about anything you want to hear, but I assure you it dose not and will not heal the sick, really the only amazing secret about life is it's myth, I am made whole and I stay that way by using my common sense and logic, oh and yes there is a creator of all things but that is all.

Maybe the book meant it the other way: that when there is healing, it comes from Him.
But you are so right about people's privilege of refusing illness. Pondering what the meaning is of what Christ has done for us is healing in ways too numerous to count.

Fiction isn't real. (There's fact and fiction, non-fiction is another word for fact) Lord of The Rings will be fiction. A nature book for example will be non-fiction. So since it's a book based on a real persons life, non-fiction is correct.

Then what's your explanation of why people are in hospitals all across the country right now? You think they wouldn't jump at the chance to be "healed"? That's just another false promise of organized religion, just like the "return of Christ".

Because people are trapped in the physical world and many find it difficult to acknowledge the spiritual world or the gifts that are available through it.

this healing that is spoken of here is the healing from sin by salvation. it is not a guarantee from sickness. to many think that this verse is theirs to claim against sickness.

Because that book is full of nonsense and was probably written by someone who is severely mentally unstable. I wonder if that guy hangs out with David Icke?
