Say you, or a female you knew, got pregnant by her cousin (she's over 18). Regardless of how the child was conceived, be it through rape or consensual sex, would you keep the child? If you're not the female, what advice would you give to the woman?

I read a long time ago that, scientifically speaking, a child born between 2 cousins isn't much more likely to have birth defects than a child born between 2 non-related people. (Not that I would do it, but whatever.) Personally, I would give birth to the child, then put it up for adoption. But it really depends on the woman's own feelings on abortion, and her feelings on conceving a child with her cousin.

I would keep the child but if u dont want to do that, adoption is the best way. Not abortion. U wouldnt want that child to deal with being a product of incest. And what was the female thinking of having sex with her cousin. There is alot of that going around and i believe that when that happens, the child may come out with some kind of problem.

you raise to many cotradictory issues, there is for instance a big differance between being raped, or getting pregnant by consensual sex, in the first case it is natural to want to abort the fetus, while in the secind instance the child may be a real wanted child, so you see there is no real easy answer to your question.
