If you burn a cd with pictures on it and put the cd in a dvd player to view them, how many pictures will be displayed?

Not in a slideshow, just put on a disc regularly.

Eventually all of them... But you also have to have the right software and the right kind of DVD player... Cause there are some that do not do slidshows from disks...

As many as you put on the disc. If you have 500 pics on the disc they will all show up (In list view, or thumbnail view usually) and you can scroll to the one you want, or you can just press play and it'll start a slide show. My portable brings them up in thumbnail view where you see a little picture and the name by it, but my big dvd player brings up list view which just shows the name. I have maybe 300-400 photos on the disc and both of them show all of them. Just takes a while to scroll through them.

You'll of course have to make sure your DVD Player is CD-R compatible, and can read (JPEG, Bitmap, GIF, etc.) files.
