It is God's character to be sinless. He cannot sin or else He would not be God. The reason that Christ died on the cross was for our sins. He was the perfect sacrifice. No one else was, or could ever be, a sacrifice for our sins because everyone one else has a sinful nature. God is quick to forgive us because He keeps all His promises. He tells us, for example, in John 1:9 that if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins. The Bible also tells us that He is not willing that any of us should perish. We can truly be eternally thankful that He does just what He says He will do--He keeps all His promises to us.

God is PERFECT--not a sinner-man fell from God's Good Graces and then became imperfect and started dying just as our Father told Adam would happen to him if he didn't listen to his Maker. God forgives quickly when we are true to Him, but woe to those untrue ones. The ones that grieve His Holy Spirit whereby He accomplishes ALL things.

God is an entity and was never born but has been here through eternity. He does not judge you, each one has to determine their own path. Being born again was invented by man but really means you get a second chance to change your life.

Being ready to forgive is a facet of love, and in this we too must imitate God. Must? Yes, for unless we imitate him in this regard He will not forgive us. Jesus Christ repeatedly stressed this principle. He said that unless a person forgives others, God will not forgive him. (Matt. 6:12-15) On another occasion Jesus gave an extended parable on this matter, which concluded with his warning: “In like manner my heavenly Father will also deal with you if you do not forgive each one his brother from your hearts.” (Matt. 18:35)
It is in this very respect of forgiving one another that the apostle Paul urges us to be imitators of God: “Become kind to one another, tenderly compassionate, freely forgiving one another just as God also by Christ freely forgave you. Therefore, become imitators of God, as beloved children, and go on walking in love.”—Eph. 4:32; 5:1.

I dont think god expects much from any one individual. He judges us by his own standard. The many denominations and types of religion are a testiment of the variety of beliefs. I believe he judges us on how hard we try as an individual to do the right thing.

God never sinned nor does He sin, but He was tempted in every way we are tempted. That is why we are told to forgive because He forgave us.
