If God can just create people out of dirt like he did with Adam and Eve, why doesn't he just do that and create a whole bunch of people instead of making women carry babies for nine months?

Ok, that's what the Christians would say. Have sex to make babies. The Lord wants you to crank out miniature God warriors.
In REALITY, we have sex for pleasure, for business, for power, for love, for procreation, for fun, etc etc.

Sex is one of the 3 things that people most need. So if God create a whole bunch of people instead of making women carry babies for nine months, you weren't be here today and you definitely not getting sex for satisfying your needs and have baby's.

When Adam and Eve left the Garden of Eden, the punishment of the human race was distance from God Himself. He would not be with us, so somehow they had to multiply. Hence, He said Eve would bear children in sweat and pain- also known as the curse of Eve.

Perhaps so we can experience the amazing wonder of his creation. It is just as much of a miracle to see a baby grow inside a woman for nine months then to have babies popping up from the ground. This way- the parents are a part of the miracles of God.

Thanks to Adam and Eve eating the apple, we will never know how God would have done things. Childbearing is the payment women pay for Eve's sin.
Sex was created for married Christians for pleasure and for procreation.

God wants husbands and wifes to multiply. It is His will. But he does not want unmarried men and women having out of wedlock sex which is fornication and goes against the word of God. Those people follow satan who rules this earth, and controls the flesh of the weak.

Sex lets us control our own evolution by choosing our mate for a direct physical connection. The development of the modern human being is the latest product of a long line of humans choosing who to mate with.

We have sex to show are husbands or wives that we love them. He makes women carry babies so that we can keep the world populated, I think. I also think so we can raise the kid and all that and so we can feel the happiness of what a child can bring.
