I am 13. It feels like i have no control over anything and its always my parents. I am not even allowed to wear a little eyeshadow. They dont know how to live, they have a very high income but our computer is from the stoneage and our tv hardly works. I have to change when i get home because 2 hours of being outside with your clothes "Gets them dirty"!!! I dont have a choice in anything... Our house is a mess and everything is blamed on me. I am starting to think its me, but i have A LOT of friends and they all like me. I always get As in everything and Tons of guys in my school have crushes on me. What is wrong with my family and home Life. Please help and if you could please leave me an e-mail so I can talk to you later about this. Thanx a lot...
Oh my family always tells me i have problems, but how can i be nice with this life???

first of all you are 13 why try to be a grown up so fast...and untill you work and buy your own cloths whats wrong with you changing your school cloths....you might have a lot of friends.. but none of your friends will have your back like your parents...when you need them they will be there ....your friends wont ...and as for the boys that like you when you wind up pregnant you will only have your family to stand by you.... you might not see it but your parents are only thinking of your best intrest....and you are making it hard on you and them....you wont to play grown up try listening and doing what they say ....that would be handling things in a grown up manner..

You are 13,not 21.Your not old enough to have a life of your own.Your parents are responsible for you until your 18,or 21.You said it yourself,other kids are going through the same thing.So what are you so up tight about?Be 13,and stop complaining like you are the one who has to take care of the bill,put food in the house,buy clothes to wear,keep a roof over your head.Do you do these things?(NOT).If you did you wouldn't have the money to buy a new computer,or clothes every week.Your parents are doing the best they can to take care of you and all the things they have to pay out,so that you won't go hungry,and have clothes to wear.Maybe on day you'll understand that.All your saying is,me,me,me.Get over yourself and do your part to help out.What ever that is.I'm sure you have Chores,do them and just maybe your life will get a little easier.At least you won't have to complain about the house being messy.

But make sure to get yr parents permission. I have a 14 yr old Daughter. and it is the same at her Moms house" and totally the oposite when she,s here' her MOM is a cleanliness freak

wow, tht sounds like a really big problem. wht i would try and do is try and talk to them i know tht u might have done tht b4 but try again. tell them tht u think tht ur grown up enough to have a bf and to wear make-up u dont have to wear alot just a little and mabe say tht u need a new computer to do ur hw better and tht u need a new tv b/c the one u have is dieing. and if tht doesnt work try going to ur skool consuler and have them call ur parents to have a meeting or even try a family consuler......my e-mail sydgirlygirl@yahoo.com if u just need to talk..kk....g'luck

well talk to your parents, sometimes they will listen and other times they won't. be up front about how you feel. and if nothing changes, well as long as you live under their roof you have to live by their rules.. sorry

u sound like somebody i knoww...um..sry i don't really know what to say. did you try talking about it? or maybe when it happens just say like "You know what?! I'm tired---" and fill in whatever and stuff. maybe they'll listen to you if you "put your foot down"
