Our two pugs sleep with us, and of course, they lay sideways instead of longways. We bought a kingsize bed for them, but they still manage to take up all the room.

My standard poodle sleeps with us. My toy sleeps in his crate, however, because 1. He's still a puppy and not house trained yet and 2. My husband is terrified he'll roll over on him in the night.
My husband also tells people the poodle and I get 3/4 of the bed and he gets a small corner

We have a lab and 2 beagle/bassets that hog our queen bed every night and leave their $30 beds on the floor empty. If the beds were bigger the hubby and I would sleep in them some nights.

Of course my two babies sleep with me. I made a mistake answering another question I said Miss Kitty weighted 5 pounds she only weights she weights 3 and her bother Hercules weights 5. Let me tell you these two little stinkers get more of the bed than I do. Miss Kitty is a little witch if my toe barely touches her she growls and bits my toe not hard but lets me know I'm just getting to close and to get still. There is just no way I could go to sleep without them being close to me.

Our current dog sleeps beside the bed next to me but this is only because the cats rule the bed at night. I did have a large X breed dog that would sleep on the bed between my partner and myself. As the night wore on the dog would stretch out and force one of us (normally My boyfriend of the time)off the edge but we just couldn't make him sleep on the floor. He had us under his thumb. That dog was one of my best dogs and i wouldn't change a minute of our time with him. Like i said if the cats (who have been with us longer) would allow it Jackson (our puppy) would be allowed to sleep in the bed with us. Dogs are just great companions they know when your sad or happy and they react to our moods, how could we resist them. Jackson is always welcome in our bed if he can arange it with the cats.

Heck no! Between me and my boyfriend, we take up most of the queen size bed! We'd have to double upgrade to a CAL-KING if we were going to let the dog into bed!

I admit I break my hard fast rules on this one quite a bit. I will say that I dont' usually have BOTH dogs in bed with me, in fact they sometimes choose their crates on their own - but lately my back has been a SERIOUS source of pain for me and it's been very comforting for me to have my Westie sleep at my back. I move around too much for the Chi (under 5lbs). But she snuggles under the covers for a while until she hops down and crates herself.
I'm superlucky my dogs love their crates. I selfishly pulled the Westie out of her crate last night because i wanted the warmth & comfort.

Yes my dogs sleeps in my king size bed. They are probably more comfortable than I am during the night. On chilly nights they even have their own blankets.(spoiled rotten they are). Their dog beds they only use during the day.
