I agree with 412 KiD, day for short flights, night for long ones.
I also take an anti-nausea pill for the obvious reason, as well as it knocks me out (for the nighttime flights). I end up sleeping for most of the flight and I feel somewhat rested when we land.
Day flights are cool because I like to look at the geography out the window, weather permitting. I *LOOOVE* flying over the mountains on the west side of the continent.
Nighttime you can't see much, but the view is still spectacular of the various cities you fly over if the sky is clear.
I have flown to Toronto, Ontario, Canada (I'm in BC) and to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The T.O. flight was during the day and it was VERY busy at both airports. In contrast, the Mexico flight was at night, and it wasn't as busy at the airport leaving, but when we got there it was crazy because it was the morning and the day was just starting. The sunrise on the horizon was amazing and I'll never forget that. :o)

it depends on the lenght of the flight. i dont like morning flights because that means i have to be in the airport way too early. for christmas im going to south america and i have to be in the airport by 4am because the plane leaves at 7am. the good thing about it is that i get to my country at noon, so i have that same day to visit family and friends and to go out to eat.
when we go to europe i rather go at night because its such a long flight and then you have the time change too.

It depends how long the flight is.
If it's to Europe (I'm on the West Coast), I leave in the afternoon--going to sleep right away--so I arrive in the morning in Europe.
