Sometimes the truth involves someone's feelings getting hurt.
I think honesty is the best policy.
When it comes to wanting the truth be prepared for an honest answer. Even if you know some feelings are going to get hurt. Never be afraid of the truth - even if it pertains to you.

Yes honesty is the best policy...The truth hurts but it is also a very good teacher...Once you know the reality of a situation & if it really hurts you chances are you will not get involved in tht type of situation again

I'm with you. I love the truth except when it hurts. But in the long run, I'd hate to be running around thinking one thing and find out I've been wrong.

At least your not living lies. Truth can hurt but in the end it'll get your further because you told the truth which makes you trustworthy.

in someways the truth is better, but sometimes, it does people good to here a little lie, for example, if someone walks up to you and says am i ugly, you would say no, even if to you they were.
you have to choose though, sometimes its better to tell the truth, because its better for your sole, and they can end up in a tangle, and sometimes its not, because it could hurt someone elses feelings.
