I think you should just visit different types of religious services and see how they do things, how you receive the word, pray on it first and ask the Lord to lead you where He desires you to worship at. I believe religions are just for different types of disciplines or the many different ways that people learn the word of God. But if you go to a church and no scripture if quoted or the pastor/preacher, etc...doesn't tell you to turn to scriptures then I would move to the next church. Because we all need to know where to look in the bible to confirm what someone is telling us about the Word of God, that's why we are to read our bible so we can know what's in it for ourselves and the pastor,... will just be confirming and relaying messages and revelation during service. God bless and good luck.

People put to much in "Religion" there have been fanatics in every religion, for all the religions whether you think so or not if you study them they all believe in one God one creator from Christians, to the Jewish, to the Muslims, to the Hindus.

What you have to remember is this, humans are fallible and that God is not, but that is what makes it great, for without evil there can be no good and vice verse.

But this is one true fact taught by every disciple from earliest days of mankind, what you do here will echo into your after life, every religion talks about "duality", " so above as below" and so forth.

As your looking studying remember this "Faith, Hope, and Charity".

And for some of these posts I have been reading, EVERY religion believes in a Trinity but it may be different than what you were taught but if you look deep into it it all means the same, God just touches people in different ways so we can once again unite with him.

As on who came to The True Christian Faith just 6 1/2 yrs ago at the age of 53... my question is Why would you give up on The Truth? Just because you have yet to come to God, As witnessed by your own statement, which no one of The True Faith would say.... you clearly have issues with Christian teaching or you would not be "seeking" else where... If you have unresolved questions with The True Faith you are welcome to ask me... I do not know it all.. but you will receive honest answers to honest questions... with no "preaching".... There is nothing out there that can offer you what The One True God can...

Stick with God... there is no man invented "religion" that can offer Heaven and the assurance of your Salvation.

I stick to the basics... I do not debate or spam... just 1 answer, to the best of my ability, to 1 question....you will need to alow YA email responces.

Rather than asking what religion is right for me ask yourself, what form of worship pleases God? Quickly rule out the religions which yield rotton fruitage. Religion which is a participant in war, and not a deterant to war. Takes care of a lot of them. Now for the rest.....lay them out against 3 factors...Factor one MESSAGE Factor two: NAME Factor three: LOVE (a particular kind of love called AGAPE).

Is the message of the religion in harmony with God's original purpose for creating the earth and putting humans on it?

Does the religion know God by name? Do they introduce others to God by Name? Teach that name to others? Do they carry Bibles that have had God's name removed for lame reasons?

Study the meaning of AGAPE. This is the type of Love mentioned most in the Bible. Jesus said his true followers would be known for Agape Love in John 13:34 and 35. What religion is truly manifesting AGAPE love as a group?

There are of course other things to study to truly appreciate the true religion, but this will put you well on your way.

Yes there is it's in the Vatican archives, unfortunately they wont let you in, that is where the truth of all religions are kept, religion truly is on trial today, and it will be found guilty of lies and deception, I believe people will die trying to preserve the lies as they have in the past, and people will die from telling the truth as they have in the past, I believe this is what they will call the battle of Armageddon, I also believe it has started and it will escalate to a full blown war in the very near future God help us all when that happens.

Go to www.beliefnet.org (or .com, I forget which) and take their Belief-o-matic inventory. It's free. They will score it for you, and give you a list of about two dozen religions, rated according to how closely your beliefs match those of each religion. Pick the top five or so, and research what each is all about on the same website. It's one of the top-rated sites for unbiased information about religions.

Check out the link below. It asks you what you believe, and then shows the religions that most correspond to your own beliefs. That might be a start.

you must study the various Religious Belief Systems and find the one which comes the closest to what you personally believe. may be difficult for I " customized " my Religious Beliefs. but this includes Non-Christian, Native American Spirituality, Ancient Ways and Christianity all together. however to keep " peace in the family " whenever I go with others I do whatever is customary. remember GOD is to big to be in only one place.
