Pressurized tanks, are always used to store energy, this is the only use for them.

Water tanks, gas cylinders, propane cylinders, this is often useful for INSTANT Demand use OR when electricity or pumping is not available. Pressurized energy can be tansported all the way to the top of Mt Everest wher one needs oxygen for instance.
