The favorite book for inspirational verses for most seniors is the Psalms because they are very poetic expressions of praise, worship and confession to God.

Any where in the bible. If you have a study bible, in the back of it there is a place for popular bible verses. I have a KJV rainbow study bible and it is in the back of mine.

Since there is a silver lining to every cloud then I would say all of them are inspirational and it simply depends on who is reading it and what they get out of it.
