i dont mean to diss ur parents or anything but they are complete lunitics. my suggestions are that u get yourself and ur brother out of that house while they are fighting. try and get ur mom and dad in counsiling. there is absolutly no excuse to fight in front of ur children. the last thing a child needs is there mom saying shes gonna kill herself. how do u think ur brother will grow up to be like if he stays in this mess. it is a good thing that u are trying to help keep ur brother safe, u are doing a good job and keep up the good work! tell ur brother that i even said that it is not his fault at all. he is as inasint as a cloud in the sky. hope u take my advice.
p.s. i am only 13 years old but i have been through the same thing and i am 100% there for u!

when your parents fight i think you should take your brother away from the situation and go to a nearby neighbor's, friend's or family's home. Or you can just take him out side and sit on the porch or take him to the park or something. I sounds like your parents need counseling. I also think that both of you need to tell your parents how you feel when they fight. you need to explain to him that the fight between your parents has nothing to do with him. better yet try to get your parents to explain to him that it is not his fault.

That is just terrible. Someone needs to step in and make your parents realize that they are permanently damaging this child. Call Child Protective Services if you can't make them listen to reason. What they are doing is abusive.

Find an Al-Ateen support group. You will learn ways to take care of yourself and that you are not the cause or cure for your parents' fighting.

Try playing a video game or a card game with him, talk to him about school, as for your parents tell them they need help, because no one's parents should act like that.

well, i was told that when we were little my mom and dad would fight, and so my brother took us to his room, and got us toys to play with and stuff, untill they stopped.

take him into his room, or yours, and play with him, i dont know what he likes to play. but you could turn the TV on to dround out some of the noise, and just talk to him, try and drop the subject, and get it off his mind when theyre fighting.....

Go in the bedroom, close the door, and read a book. Pretend you don't hear anything. Curl up on the bed beside him, and read something, doesn't really matter what it is.

Tell your parents to shape up or you will have to tell on them. You deserve peace and you don't have to hear it from them.
