status and wealth can make life easier. you get more oportunies, you dont have to worry about how you're going to pay your bills, people treat you better...but then again, it can also have it's down side. you cant always tell if people really like you, or just like your money. wealth cant make someone love you. plus power can corrupt people. so i would say no, you cant buy happiness, only temporary satisfication.

Status buys you nothing, it can't buy you happiness. If wealth is what defines your happiness then how much wealth will it take before you are truly happy. When will you say enough is enough and say that you happiness has been achieved? What are you willing to give up for your wealth? Family, friends, a spouse, a child? When do you draw the line?

Heck no, it does not matter at all. Just satisfies a temporary longing to be "fixed" or made better. Things don't last. The whole concept is really shallow. Status and wealth are not important, character is. Like the Penney' s ad ( ha ha) says "its all inside."

Not important in the slightest. I could not care less. I think people that have to rely on such status symbols are insecure and always trying to one up people. Its ridiculous. To prove what? That you have more money than sense or you know how to max out 12 credit cards to prove something. To who?

It's not important to happiness at all.
It should be more about needs than wants.
It should also be about giving back to others, for those who have been financially blessed to do so.

it does bring a relief to many problems. it does not replace happiness or peace. But I would be lying if I said I would rather be poor.
