Next course of action....?

Question

I work as a bouncer in a bar with a restaraunt underneath. One of the waitresses always used to talked to me whenever she came up to get drinks (the others usually ignored me) and she would talk to me when she got off work and eventually I asked for her number and she told me to text her some time. I texted her once and got a single response and havent heard from her since. Ive never hung out with her outside of work and never called her. What should I do? Give up? Call? Text?

She's probably not interested in anything more than a nice work relationship. Isn't texting a few steps beneath phoning, and phoning less than talking in person? She went for the minimum with you to be "nice."

Well im not sure about what i would do... but i am guessing a lot of religions, if they were presented with solid evidence that the bible was a hoax would just ignore it anyway. The last hting people want to except is that something they have believed in and stood up for for such a long time isnt real . SO i honestly think a lot of people wouuld just go into denial about it no matter how much evidence against the contrary they had, sad but true.

Does she still talk to you @ work? Call her, see what's up. Maybe that is what she is waiting 4. Tell her you would be intrested in getting to know her outside of work. Maybe over dinner...(don't 4-get the flowers!) She obviously wants you to get in touch with her or she never would have given you her #. Maybe she is just playing hard to get, sometimes the thrill is in the chase. Have fun!!!

Text her one more time. Then make a call to see if she wants to go out. If you're shot down at least you tried! Or you could have the best time of your life.
