My daughter has eczema. I would say, stay away from soaps with perfumes, alcohols whether it's called sterates or etc. You would be best with natural soaps. Try soaps with moisturizers because bathing can increase drying of the skin.

I've had good luck with Aveeno baby wash for my younger daughter, and the Aveeno soap for my older daughter. We've also had good luck with Cetaphil.

The doctor recommended that the girls not take baths, but instead, to have them take quick warm showers- not hot because it dries out the skin too much. And no baths for the same reason. Also, try to stay away from fragranced soaps, not just bath soaps but laundry detergents and fabric softeners.

My kids have had ecezma and a few other family members.
I have had the best results using the Eucerin line of skin products. They have the skin cleanser, lotion, soap, and a few other products. The price isn't cheap but it makes the skin feel a whole lot better.
Just make sure the skin is not broken when using the products.
Good Luck
