I don't do hypotheticals...way too much room for invention. Sort of like what if's....What if he told you face to face that he was God and that you are loved, would you believe? That is hypothetically speaking of course. If the Pope decided to tell the world that he was actually Osama bin Ladin's cousin would you believe it, hypothetically? If a frog had wings, would he still bump his a** on the ground when he jumped? And round and round we go....

Certainly. He warned that there would be false Christs who would come to deceive us. Since He has already revealed Himself as God, why would I believe one who said that he was the Christ, but not God?

Matt 24:23-25
23 At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect-if that were possible. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time.

You've got a good point there.
I didn't believe what he said the last time
So if he lied to me the before,
why should i believe him this time.
