A close friend of mine was rejecting me for a very long time without an explaination why. I finally got him to talk about the probelm by humbling myself and admitting that I wanted forgiveness for what ever it was that I had done - I was truly sorry. He finally came out and told me that I had deeply hurt his feelings by something that I said. I apologized after confessing my mistake and he forgave me. I did not offer any excuses. After that, he was his old self again and there was no more rejection.
