Dogs love peanut butter. They also love milk, however if they get too much milk it may cause diarrhea.

Some human foods (like milk) are not good for dogs. Dogs cannot digest the lactose in milk and it can give the diarrhea. My vet said it was okay to put peanut butter in the Kong toy but not to overdo it because peanut butter is very fattening. Other things you don't want to give your dog are chocolate, raisins, grapes, caffeine, alcoholic beverages, too much citrus fruits, pork, fat or skin on meat this is just a sample you can check the net for more.

My veterinarian says that peanut butter is okay, just as long as you don't give too much. But she said that milk is not good, because most dogs and cats are lactose intolerant. I think you should ask your vet about the people food you feed your puppy, and see if it is okay. And ask them what other people foods they know of that dogs like that are okay for them to have. I know a lot of people that feed their dogs green beans and carrots as treats, and their dogs LOVE them. And my vet said they are good for dogs too.

Dogs can have a little bit of peanut butter, but I wouldn't give it to him all the time. The oils that are in OUR food are completely different than that in dog food. You don't want to give fido a tummy ache, do you? And don't give him milk. That could give him explosive diarrhea, and I'm sure you don't want to be the one that has to clean it up. All in all, NO to human food. If you want to give them a table scrap every now and then, that's fine. But, not all the time.

Peanut butter is the best way to give dog their pills. I have 2 jars in the house at all times of Low fat PB, one for me and one for them. They love it.
I would limit the amount of milk, it could cause them to have a very soft stool.

Well here is one thing, just about every dog LOVES peanut butter. I put it on my dog's upper lip and they lick it for hours!
But on the milk thing it sure does depend on the cereal. Splendor and sweeteners are very bad for a dog's heart. Other things like onions, raisins, and chocolate are also very bad for dogs.

Yes and note this! A Dog can and will eat most anything when they are hungry enough. But the vet is right it is ok. I know I have raised as many as 60 dogs at one time. Mostly Pitbull's but my mother also works for a Vet, so trust me on this.

Any human food given to a pet should be given in small amounts not in substitution for pet food. Dogs can develop pancreatis from eating human food especially rich/fatty ones. Treats are ok in small amounts. Avoid: onions, grapes, raisins, chocolate, coffee, and alchohol: all of these items are toxic to dogs and can lead to death. My dogs like watermelon and carrots.

Yes. Often, giving dogs table scraps bonds them to you. Do not give them Pork of any sort, as it binds in thier intestines, or bones. Anything else is usually fine, but too much milk can be very bad for them and give them a sore stomach. Numerous people will argue that table scraps are bad, yet all of my dogs have lived well past 10 and they always get scraps.
