Is there a function on MS Word where I can edit papers in red without having to keep hitting the red text box, or do I have to hit it at each new place I type a comment? Thanks in advance for your help.

Tools, Track Changes (Ctrl + Shift + E)

Try it.

Under Tools Options Track Changes you can alter the colours etc.

There should be a box that has a highlighter on it next to the text color box on the formatting option bar. You click and drag the mouse over the words that you want to highlight, click on the highlight box, select the color you want, and...voi la...the background behind the highlighted word will change to the color that you selceted.

I hope this is what you were looking for...sorry if it isnt.

I don't think so .. you just have to keep on pressing the red text box. It isn't that hard though

OR you can just pot the automatic color to red
