if you are the litter trainer for the cat you need to leave the cat in a carrier with the litter in a small box inside the carrier as well. The cat should come out to play for different intervals during the day but basically keep it in there to train him to use the litter. A litter I use is Yesterdays News. It is recycled newspaper in pellate form. Hope that helps a little.

I was going to tell you to try different types of litter, but if you've already tried that, maybe try using "Yesterday's News" It is a type of paper litter, she might like that better. We usually use if for cats that have recently been declawed, because it is softer on their paws. I think it is more expensive. So maybe try just using shredded
paper too. Maybe if she gets used to using the litter box with yesterdays new, she will learn to use it when you use regular litter. Good luck!!

I wouldn't use plain old newspaper as the ink on that really comes off. You can get plain "newsprint" and shred that up. I don't know if Yesterday's News" cat litter has been treated to remove the ink.

you can try mixing in a great amount of soil or fine bark (from your yard or garden) with the regular litter that's in the cat's box. If kitty takes to this mixture, gradually lessen the amount of soil you put in so that kitty will gradually accept regular litter.

use a clumping litter. they seem to find it more acceptable. also put the cat in the litter ( clean of course) and dig in it with the kitten there. it will /playfully respond, and in turn learn that it can dig in it and will learn, if you have to, by locking it in the bathroom over night. by then it will use it and voila! trained kitty we have two kittens trained this way

Put some of the kittens poop in the box and it may just get the idea. Personally, I trained mine to go outside. Cat boxes are nasty. Keep trying. This will resolve.

get a bag of peat or a cheap growbag and try that. Ask the breeder which litter she uses as the kitten may be used to a cetrtain type.

As for littler field, territorial limitations would reason friction. upload yet another field, as for the youngest not likely yet, it may not for some days, being too nosey at it its new atmosphere, lots to inspect.......we get cats in and now and returned do not decide for greater or less 3 days.....after that, it is going to would desire to bypass and nicely.
