how do I find out about my computer port and whitch one I use?

I am trying to find out whitch port I am using , where do I look. thanks J

You don't use only one port on your computer. Your computer has THOUSANDS of ports in which it uses to connect to various things. Some common ports are 21, 8080, 81, 53. What you need to do is find a port scanner and scan your computer. It will tell you what ports you are using. If you wish to close off those ports, you can do so if you are using Windows XP. Just google port scanner, and use that.

Goo to Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager, and look through all those devices for information you are after.
