she means that she needs some time to think things over. she may be confused about something. not necessarily you, so don't get scared just yet. she just feels like there's too much going on in her life, and she needs time to sort everything out and get some better perspective on things. she's probably stressed out. and I wish I could tell you how long it will take her, but I can't. just hang in there even though it's hard, and be there for her.

Hi Intell: When a woman says she needs time to sort her head out it can mean that 1.She has issues in the past that she needs to resolve before she can move on with you or 2. You are sort of overwhelming her with your macho charm and she need time to back off and think about it or 3. She is blowing you off. How long a woman needs depends on her individually - there is no set time limit. If you are truly interested in her, keep in touch and let her know that you will be there for her and honestly care for her. But don't push it, or you might just push her away. Send her flowers and candy, and whatever else she likes. We chicks love a romantic dude - go for it guy!! JoAnn

Dang ~ you must be a young guy! Sorry but that new book that came out this year, "He/She is not into you!" can be taken to heart. When she needs to "sort things out" is really she needs to sort you out of her life for whatever reason.
Be good about it and move on, she already has but is trying to be kind and doesn't want to create a problem between the both of you. Try and stay friends but that depends on how you handle it, she has moved on or is in the process of moving on. If you stay friendly maybe at a later date, you might have a chance to re-engage. Life isn't always fair and you are in the middle of a situation that has moved on without you.
Be the bigger one, if you need to get back or want to get back then do the right thing. You already know her likes and so on, where she likes to eat, movies, or does and whatever so come by with someone else. Lets her know that your doing alright if not better, make sure that you make eye contact but nothing else, not even a smile unless she smiles and then you can return the smile.
Women hate the fact that you replaced them so fast, even though they replaced you! Its a pride thing with them, dang he didn't even skip a beat and moved on, maybe he was ready to replace me instead? Love and relationships are a game of life, you win and loose, but there is always hope!

It means she's not sure if she want to be with you and is seeing if there is anything better out there, sorry.
Let her go and 'sort out her head' - she'll come back realising that she had the best and by then you will have found someone else who will appreciate you for who you are!

I think it all depends on the situation. I've had times in my life where I needed to sort things out, there is no set amount of time. If you are talking about her saying this in response to a relationship, it's prolly over. Anytime you "need time" to sort things out in a relationship, the end is very near.

She needs time to think things through in her head. If it's regarding you then she needs more time for herself before she spends more time with you or without you. Length of time varies from person-to-person and to the situation and how quickly or slowly the person resolves whatever is bothering them.

she may have alot going on and ur not there to help her tru it and maybe ur a problem as well. so be there and be the man u were meant to be and don't let these other comments get to u. she may need u and u don't realize it. so be available when she needs u.

She might have other issues on her mind like family, friends, problems or obsticals.... Or she might have feelings for another guy.....it takes from a day to months.....GOOD LUCK!!
