No way could they be allowed to play exterior in the event that they are taking time without work college, that may not precise. toddlers can somewhat attempt to play it now and returned, I had a decision from the faculty 2 weeks in the past that my son substitute into sick (I had my suspicions because it substitute into the 1st week back after yuletide so thought it substitute into greater of a settling in difficulty, he's 5) I introduced him abode and marvel marvel he substitute into greater advantageous than chirpy, wanting to play along with his toys etc - i did not enable him. I pronounced if he's not nicely adequate to stay in school then he's not nicely adequate to play, this is user-friendly experience. If a toddler is honestly sick they they won't choose to do something different than relax besides. it is likewise instruments an exceptionally undesirable impact if a instructor or yet another be sure sees that youngster out and approximately possible effective while they could be in school. you're precise, your b/f is incorrect.

No. In my house staying home sick means laying around and being still. Maybe a couple cartoons, but that is it. I also expect them to nap at lunch, irregardless of age. Being sick shouldn't be an excuse for kids to skip school and play games all day.

Ok, there's 2 kinds of SICK
1. Chicken pox, mumps, measles, strep throat, etc. and any reason the kid's doctor says - Keep this one home for the next X number of days- is ok to spend a LIMITED time gaming. If they feel good enough to game, they should feel good enough spending some time READING.
2. Everything else- if you're too sick to go to school, you need to stay in bed and sleep it off.

I don't see why not. If it relaxes them. There is no reason to punish a child for not feeling well. When you stay home sick do you stay in bed all day and not allow yourself any comforts? Do you not check email or watch a little tv in between resting?

it depends. if the parent knows that the child is sick, such as strep throat, fever, flu, chicken pox, etc then i do not see a problem with it.
however, if the parent isn't sure how sick the child is and it is becoming a common issue of not being able to go to school then i most definitely think that they should NOT be allowed to play games or watch TV...they can read or work on missed work or projects quietly.

well, when I was young and sick, I was horrible in the morning , but through the day as I got better, needed to get up and interact around the house, so I wouldn't nag the child and say I thought you were sick. People get better throughout the day. So I would limit the time

from my experience, if my child is truly sick, he doesn't feel like doing much at all, even play video games or on the computer. If I believe he's really sick, I let him play a little if he feels up to it, but generally, if he feels well enough to do that, he's well enough to go to school.

no. you need to rest. Healing requires a lot of energy. Also, video game playing while sick sometimes causes more sick days
