haha! It is not disgusting, come on, its not that bad. I bought it cuz its sooooooo good for you and it actually has a slight sweetness to it...I mixed half kashi and half honey nut cheerios on days when I wasn't feeling so healthy and this helped a lot with the flavor. Try mixing it with a cereal that you like. Also, adding a banana or frozen blueberries helps a lot with flavor, it adds sweetness too.:)

Kashi Mediterranean Pilaf
As prepared on San Antonio Living Monday, Auguest 7, 2006
Ingredients: 2 cups Kashi® 7 Whole Grain Pilaf (two packets)
1 cup pine nuts
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 yellow bell pepper, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon crushed red chili flakes
1 teaspoon salt
2 bunches fresh basil, coarsely chopped
fresh ground black pepper to taste
Directions:
Cook Kashi Pilaf according to package directions. In a small skillet, dry toast the pine nuts over medium high heat, stirring continuously until they are golden brown and aromatic. Remove nuts from heat and set aside. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, lemon zest, chili flakes, salt, basil, pepper and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked Kashi Pilaf, pine nuts, bell peppers and sauce mixture. Mix well and serve.
Makes 10-12 Servings

Can you finely grind this up in your food processor and use it to make muffins? Or perhaps use it instead of bread crumbs to cover fish?
BTW, what does it taste like? I was going to buy it as I find most cereals to contain too much sugar.
