i found cans in my basement idk how old they are, will they get me sick

I'd start by looking at the cans and see if they're bulging anywhere or rusty. That's botulism. If not, then try the sniff test after you open it. After that, when in doubt, throw it out.

usally canned items like chef boyardee have an exparation date on them. You can most deff go by that. Because that date is usally about a year or two after u buy the can, and that date is scientificly proven when the food in that container should potentialy go "bad"

Maybe. . .Probably not worth it. I think they go bad like, eventually, it just takes a long time, so for a few dollars it's probably not worth the risk.

no i dint think so u might have to smell it before eating it though if u had it for a year or so..
