As for the Prophet's miracles, it is to be stated that a number of miracles were bestowed upon and performed by the Prophet Muhammad to establish the proof of his prophethood. Those miracles are granted by the power and permission of Allah and are usually in the field in which his people excel and are recognized as superiors.
The Arabs, the contemporaries of the Prophet Muhammad, were known for their eloquence and magnificent poetry. So Prophet Muhammad's major miracle was the Qur'an, the equivalent of which the whole legion of the Arab poets and orators could not produce despite the repeated challenge from the Qur'an itself.
Prophet Muhammad's greatest miracle has something special about it. All previous miracles were limited by time and place, i.e., they were shown to specific people at a specific time. Not so the miracle of Muhammad, the Qur'an. It is a universal and everlasting miracle. Previous generations witnessed it and future generations will witness its miraculous nature in terms of its style, content and spiritual uplifting. These still can be tested and will thereby prove the divine origin of the Qur'an.
The Qur'an is miraculous in a number of aspects: Its linguistic perfection and inimitability, its validation by recent historical, archaeological, and scientific discoveries, its prophecies and so on. Unlike the miracles of other prophets before him, the miracle of the Qur'an is eternal.

Besides the revelation of the Qur’an, the Prophet of Islam had performed many material miracles.
(1) Splitting of the Moon:

Almighty Allah says, "The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder." (An-Najm: 1)

Imam al-Bukhari reported on the authority of `Abdullah who said: "The moon was cleft asunder while we were in the company of the Prophet, and it became two parts. The Prophet said, “Witness, witness (this miracle)."
NOW scientists have proven the splitting of the moon.

(3) Water Multiplication:

`Abdullah reported: We used to consider miracles as Allah's Blessings, but you people consider them to be a warning. Once we were with Allah's Messenger on a journey, and we ran short of water. He said, "Bring the water remaining with you." The people brought a utensil containing a little water. He placed his hand in it and said, "Come to the blessed water, and the Blessing is from Allah." I saw the water flowing from among the fingers of Allah's Messenger, and no doubt, we heard the meal glorifying Allah, when it was being eaten (by him). (Reported by al-Bukhari)

(4) Crying of the stem of the Date-palm Tree:

Al-Bukhari reported on the authority of Ibn `Umar who said: The Prophet used to deliver his sermons while standing beside a trunk of a date-palm. When he had the pulpit made, he used it instead. The trunk started crying and the Prophet went to it, rubbing his hand over it (to stop its crying).

(5) The Prophet's Night Journey to Jerusalem and Ascent to the Heavens:

The opening verse of surat al-Isra' relates the miracle of the Prophet's night journey to Jerusalem. Regarding the Statement of Allah, "And We granted the vision (Ascension to the heavens) which We made you see (as an actual eye witness) was only made as a trial for the people." (Al-Isra': 60) Ibn `Abbas added: "The sights which Allah's Messenger was shown on the Night Journey when he was taken to Bayt-ul-Maqdis (i.e. Jerusalem) were actual sights, (not dreams). And the Cursed Tree (mentioned) in the Qur'an is the tree of Zaqqum (itself)." (Reported by al-Bukhari)

There are also many other miracles that were performed by Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) or happened to him. What we mentioned here are merely examples.

for his prophethood:
Muslim scholars have discussed different ways to consider the Prophetic claim of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). There are hundreds of scholars who wrote in the past and continue writing on this subject. Entire books and volumes have been devoted to this subject.

There are some who have mentioned his miracles and especially the miracle of the Qur’an as proofs of his prophethood. Some others have mentioned the prophecies of previous prophets about his coming as mentioned in the Bible, both in the Old Testament and the New Testament. Some have also mentioned prophecies in other ancient religious literatures of Hindus, Buddhists and Zoroastrians. Some have based the proofs on the Prophet’s own character, teachings and his achievements. This is indeed a vast subject and can be discussed in many different ways. It is important to know the proofs of his prophethood. Through this knowledge one can distinguish the true prophet from those who make false claims.

Many miracles, mutually with the splitting of the moon into 2 halves (technological information in basic terms at present got here across this and attempting to describe how the moon would have been split in 0.5), and a brilliant style of alternative miracles you will discover documented in Islamic history. A miracle is a non everlasting answer to an instantaneous project; and then the miracle can't be considered whether it has performed its purpose. even nonetheless many would be skeptical, the Holy Qur'an is the miracle of Prophet Muhammad (observed) which will final unchanged till the Day of Judgment. this is been unchanged for 1400 years and the Arabic Holy Qur'an you will get @ any bookshop is the comparable comparable one as those interior the museums that are centuries previous.

Nope he did not. For some of his teachings and particularly of the one that states (if you have English translation of the Quran you can find this, for it is mention not only once) that Allah made the Jewish people like apes going from one place to another and won't have any land to settle. This was believe by most people for 1,875 years since year 70 AD. This is also one reason why all the countries surrounding Israel accept Islam for they see that it is true but they don't know what was prophesize in the Bible. However, on the year 1945, after the World War 2, the Israelites were established back to their homeland as what the Bible has prophesize. He, The Almighty Yahweh will gather them back to their homeland in the last days. We are in the last days, for now, Man has the power to destroy all life on earth. The first sign was the dropping of atom bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan.

I'm not too sure about this: I remember my friend telling me he split the moon (my friend then showed me a picture of the moon with a thick indentation and a wide crack down the middle taken by a satellite that freaked me out) and also- I remember somthing about him making water appear to those who were thirsty-- in the desert water is a sacred source. Also- the Quran itself in the Arabic language is a thing that has not been matched. I have heard it and it gives me chills. My friend said in the Arabic language no one has been able to match it's complexities and beauty.

I'm not sure if he performed miracles, but what I do know is that he did not commit adultery to his first wife Kadiah, because he loved her endlessly even do she was about 20 years older then him. This is a miracle in itself! The muslims urged him to take concubines to have sons, but he refused! Only after Kadiah died and he remarried did he have more women and his second wife was jalous of Kadiah, because he still loved her. Ones he refused to have sex with all his women for one month, because he could not stand their bickering. Well done Mohamet...
This goes to show that love can even stop a muslim from straying and I wonder why they believe they must have more then one wife if clearely their leader seemed to think otherwise. If you really love someone, you do not hurt them by sleeping around.

yes, he married his adopted son's wife and still got to be a prophet. what made him a prophet was that a bunch of ignorant desert nomads had nothing else to go on but his word that god (you can call him allah) told him this and that.

He never raised the dead, that's for sure, but he had his own miracles that emphasized his message. He would have a single pitcher of milk to provide for a large group of people in need of a meal, and yet it was enough. I think this happened severl times, but it was still important in his teachings of providing for the less fortunate and the importance of generosity and charity.
