My friends have told me that when you go on vacation in Mexico or the Tropics ect. you can go to clubs at age 15 or so, even if in you home country it is higher. Does anyone know the true ages?

It really depends on where you are going. In the more touristy parts of Mexico, it's definitely 18 and they don't bend the rules but if you get more off the beaten path, younger folks can get served alcohol. I would NOT recommend straying too far from the tourist zones in most cities in Mexico, though, as it can be kind of dangerous for teenagers.

In other tropical areas... St. Thomas, the Bahamas, the Caymans and Bermuda are pretty strict at 18. I am sure you can find exceptions in any city but many of these countries are territories of the US or of Great Britan and have to enforce some laws, otherwise the US or GB might make it even harder for tourists to go there.

I have found that even if they do have age restrictions, they allow anyone into clubs and to drink. Mexico is supposed to be 18 but it is pretty much ok as long as you have money.

I'm really not sure there is a true age. There is a true age perhaps, but I hear it is easy to get a drink anyway.
