i like this one guy and he gives my mom free soda all the time and he wount even talk to me ? what's up with this?

some guys are scared of the people they like so they don't express there feelings though not saying nothing at all I'm sorry this isn't working out for you but try talking to him
then again he might just dig your mom

he notices you, which is why he tries to impress your mom... he wants you to take notice of his sweet personality. So mention it to him sometime, thank him, suggest a lunch date or something casual, even if you have to present it as a "return for being nice to your mom"..
