I understand all too well. It is sad that I know that the anti's will not listen to you, or care about anything you just said. Just remember we are not all evil.

So, write to the government of Mexico, and express your support for them coming up with some effective reforms in their policies so as to better provide for their own citizens. Don't harp at america, we've been absorbing Mexican citizens unquestioningly now for 2 decades. But theirs is the country that needs reforms.
Also, if you're aware that a crime is being committed, then YOU need to pick up the telephone and report it.
There's a lot of lies, double-talk, baseless accusations, outright slander, race-baiting, and so forth that surrounds this debate.
Nonetheless, the truth of the matter remains that illegal immigration is, in fact, an illegal practice, and although simple illegal immigration is only a civil offense, it gives rise to many other problems, reference your daily paper for details.
The laws regarding immigration need to be upheld. They were written for a reason, most likely in good faith, the people trying to break those laws are in some cases hardened criminals themselves, I'm for the border fence as I believe it will serve the purpose of calming things down, and increasingly I also support a 10-year moratorium on immigration altogether until it can be determined just how many people have entered illegally, and for some of them to move home. Again, the law is the law, and if you're advocating for people to accept breaches of that law, you're in a really questionable area. I suggest that instead of turning on the waterworks, you instead really start to study the issue. Emotionalism is a poor starting point for good decisionmaking. If you really feel that the people of Mexico have it THAT bad, then you should start writing to that country, and try and get them to start working for reforms in that country, so as to be able to support their own people.
Support:
employer enforcement
border enforcement
community awareness
Illegal immigration is a big problem, it's not just a Mexico thing, not just an America thing, either. Read all about it, it's a global thing. Six and a half billion people out there, these days, they can't all move to america etc.

i hear what you are saying, but you to then should be blaming the illegals.....
no matter what they have snuck in here in massive numbers and put a huge strain on the taxpaying citizens of this country....
1 person is smart, people in mass are not. so put the blame where it belongs if they had come here legally, they would have probably have had to put up with some racism. (because no matter what there are those that just are that way, its what they are taught)
but since these people are hurting the Americans, and if you are one the you should want them out too. I sympathizes, but i work for the other end of the govt that see the massive destruction they are doing to all of us.
as far as wall and wars,,,,, I believe that a wall is definitely what we need to help stop them from crossing over illegally, and as far as the wars, I am not a proponent of any war, but I will always remember 9/11....how about you?
those people hate all of us.....including you! so If we don;t fight to educate those over in the middle east...then we will all have a 9/11 in our cities.....

If your kids are being discriminated against and harrassed, then you need to blame it on the illegals, pure and simple. If they, the illegals, would have come here legally and had not started protesting for rights they do not deserve, burning and desecrating the flag of the USA, speak English, etc...then the people of this great Union would not be so quick to treat the legal people like their illegal counterparts. Even some of the legals refuse to speak English and I am for kicking them out too. This is the good ole English speaking, reading and writing US of A and if you want to live and work here, then by God, be proud of it and speak, read, and write English and wave Old Glory!!!!
Latin Honey, you need to go back to your roots and start over. You should report the illegal boss you have because if he is illegal, you are conspiring to commit a felony yourself, but, then you probably are in cahoots with him in some illegal tax scheme, since he can't legally take taxes or hire anyone anyhows. You need to return to Mexico and support your illegal habits there.

Thank you, finally someone who understands me. I am Mexican and I was born here and I am 100% legal. I get descriminated just because of my Mexican roots since people think I'm illegal. I don't think people have a problem with immigrants or Mexicans, I think they just have a problem with the illegal ones. I don't have a problem with immigrants at all, legal or illegal. I know people who are illegal immigrants and I love them to death. Illegal is just a term, it doesn't define your character. And as for people saying they suck the system dry and take away jobs, I have my job thanks to my illegal immigrant boss who owns and runs a store he started with his brother. If he wasn't here, that job I have wouldn't exist. And also, a lot of jobs are being outsourced to other places so maybe that's why job opportunities are decreasing. And maybe the government is running out of money for having this war that is costing trillions of dollars.

Maybe you're one of the illegals who is sucking the system dry, getting medical aid and welfare for you and your kids, and shouldn't be here in the first place. Have you ever heard the saying, "If you can't feed them, don't breed them." Let me add to that, ".........and don't bring them here." No one is against anyone coming into this country legally, learning OUR language, getting a job, and being a productive member of OUR society. The sky's the limit when you play by the rules, but 11 million illegal Mexicans? Get a grip!

Good point, and I agree, but dont expect much sympathy from the other "camp". They'll disagree by telling you that you are ignorant and wrong because you dont share their opinion. Quite pathetic actually.

You are PSYCHIC.
You see things no one else does.
Are you for real??
(The illegals must have had "heaven on earth" in Mexico.)
Why did they leave?
If they don't like it here, why don't they go back.
Somehow, I don't believe you.
