Did you know that your namesake was a Satanist?
Alistair Crowley was not. As has been stated before, he worshipped Gods and in no way does a Satanist include that practice. A Satanist is a Satan worshipper. Pagans do NOT believe there's a Satan or a Hell.

Yes i have heard of Aleister Crowley.
He is NOT an Satanist.
He taught and wrote alot of books.
He was a Wiccan Initiated and as high priest taught on the subject.
yes today some witch's follow his teachings, and some find is works subject for lengthy discussion.
He brought what was once deeply hidden, due to convictions that witches would be put to death, back out into the world for others to see once again.

alester crowley was not a satanist being he believed in gods. satanist are really athiest that use the name satanist to piss off christains but it just makes them look like they worship the devil.
satanist can be ok they are not evil just miss understood.me myself i'm a pagan.....
just because you say your a satanist doesn't mean you are.
and with all his study in the necronomicon it's hard for me to believe he was. and he was a little mad yet a genius, so he could be looking at what a satanist is a little differant than you.

yep, interesting fellow, i wrote an article on him for the bbc in fact ;) and crowley wasn't a satanist, in fact he said it was too much like christianity for his liking.
