How long would it take a 13 year old boy to grow 1 inch of hair on his head?

About 2 months, on average. But different people grow hair at different rates. His diet may affect hair growth, too. Hair is mostly protein, I think. A high protein diet may help it grow faster.

Hair growth rates are different for everyone. My hair grows (on average) 1 inch per month. My fiancee's grows about 1 inch every six months. It depends on diet and genetics.
