Its hard to be the oldest one, but look at the bright side you are respected for being more responsible. That's a good thing. Your younger siblings probably also look up to you and use you as an example in their behavior.

That stuff changes as you get older although then a lot of the responsibility for looking out for their well being is put on you as the oldest. You will always be an older sibling and have certain resentments towards the younger ones and your parents, but the benefits of being the first out of the house and forming your own path are worth it. It gets hard for the younger siblings because they are compared to you and to what you've done with your life. Often they have to follow your lead and don't have the opportunities you will have.

no, i do what i feel is right toward them, but if they decide otherwise i can't stress myself about the mistakes they make so they can become better sisters and brothers. i don't think that they could handle things the way i do. thats why GOD made me the oldest of 4. that makes me happy about being the oldest

at times, every older sib feels fed up...but i guess there is nothing we can do about it. but there ARE som pros to being older...we can do things (drive car, later curfew etc.) that our younger sibs cant. and i'm sure they may feel annoyed many times about how THEy can't do the things we cant.
