If you've been doing well in single table tourneys (AKA Sit-n-Go's), you have somewhat of a "final table" mentality. That is, your game is geared towards a field of 9 others or less.

A large multi-table tourney (AKA MTT) takes a different mentality. There's a time to play tight and a time to loosen up. I would suggest picking up a book called "Harrington On Hold 'Em: Volume 1". It specifically addresses tourney strategy. There's way more to it than I have room for here. Good luck.

There is some luck in voled, therefor you may not have the better cards every hand.Where as others players may go strong and gain a lead. And bully/over bet to win pots.As well as "weaker"players are eliminated, leaving more experienced players.this is only my observation. Not the standard.
