If you haven't a plastic box or any food bags then I suggest a plastic carrier bag. Cut a large square, wrap the sandwiches and put a bit of tape on the ends. I've used that or bin liners in the past. Hope this helps.

Newspaper? Greaseproof paper? Erm - old supermarket bag?
In my country the newspaper was recycled in all kinds of ways some of which I will not go into. Newspaper was used for wrapping fish and chips so why not sandwiches?

do you have any paper the bread was wrapped in? or plastic bags that loose veggies come in? you can always turn them inside out!! if all else fails you must have some kitchen roll? dampen some with water and wrap the butties up, they will keep fresh enough for you.

You must be from N.E. England, calling it bait!!
How about greaseproof or a plastic bag.

Got any carrier bags handy, or bread bags? Cut them down to size, then use selotape to keep them airtight. Will look a bit odd, but better than nothing.

On top of all the previous ones, if you wrap it in a clean hand towel or dishtowel, that can double as a napkin.
