I feel very lazy lately, and I'm feeling like this for more than a year ... when I come home from college, I just stay home until the next day when going to college, I feel so lazy to go bring something or do something, and I even feel lazy to do essential things, like dinner, , cleaning or even studying... the only thing I do is watching TV or using the internet ... and I started enjoying sleeping a lot these days ... I read some papers about laziness lately, it didn't help much ... what's wrong with me ?!

These are symptoms classified as: hypoactivity, lethargy, leaden paralysis (if your limbs feel heavy), somnalence and anhedonia (if the only thing you enjoy is TV and have lost interest in things you used to enjoy).

These are all potential symptoms of clinical depression and it sounds like they're impacting your life. I suggest you see a counselor (colleges usually have mental health offices that offer free services like counseling and psychiatric services). They can help determine whether it qualifies as a disorder and whether you need therapy or meds or some strategies.

You may just need a change or new motivation in your life. It doesn't sound like you're very interested or excited about what you're doing. Did something happen last year that could have affected your interest in succeeding in college?

There is also a small chance that all of these symptoms might be due to a physical condition (anemia, thyroid condition, sleep disorders such as apnea or sleep shift disorder). Good luck and glad came here!

Sounds like a classic case of clinical depression to me. Have your thyroid checked, and get a depression screening. I read everything under the sun on depression but until I took an antidepressant, nothing changed. I was also prescribed Armour Thyroid, 1 grain daily. In 3 months I felt like a new person. I also had several years of therapy, but the medication made the difference. Good luck!

You may be depressed. Do you think you are?
You could be in a rut and need to find some energy to pursue something of interest to you because it isn't going to come to the place where you live.
You like TV and the Internet but both do not involve human interaction unless you are doing both while in the company of others and are having lively discussions about it.
Try something you have always wanted to do and give it six weeks to see how it's working for you.

confident I did. I particularly have been given waiting for college the two, in basic terms by way of on a t-shirt and sweater. And my homework appeared like one among those horribly not easy factor, even in spite of the undeniable fact that it grew to become into very easy looking back. BQ: have you ever offered the nasal spray factor for H1N1? Im getting it the next day and im worried :( Nope, I heard to not get that one. yet my pals, nicely, pals dad is a doctor and she or he pronounced that it grew to become into superb. BQ2: What did you have for dinner? i'm undecided, we've not eaten yet.

Sounds almost like amotivational syndrome, the cure to which is to stop smoking so much pot and wait for it to get out of your system . . . this can take a few years.

If that isn't the culprit, I would definitely suspect a low level depression. You might want to check out a supplement for central nervous system disorders, something like EmpowerPlus to nourish your brain and give it the kickstart it needs.

You need to see a Dr. because you probably have something physically wrong with you or you might be severely depressed.
