how do cmsu students feel about the name change?

Students – employers of students – ask to find out what was short term effect on enrollment, giving, applications, etc.in other schools that change name.They would also like to consider whether or not to hire a consultant to help us manage the change. While the name change could be a big help, it could also take us in the wrong direction.They want to properly educate the Board of Governors giving them background and rational. The goal would be to have unanimous support.They would also like considering addition of a member of the Board to the Naming Task Force especially one of the new members who is truly undecidedThe students that discussion of the issue is good in itself. It is helping us to really think about the
vision/mission/direction of the organization.They feel that the name change will do for us what we think it will do for us.It can be a self-fulfilling prophecy
