This vehicle I belive has a mechanical fuel pump. This means that the fuel lines should be attached to the tank in a manner than allows gravity to feed the line and prime the pump, in other words there is not bent, broken or missing "pick up line".

most likely (for some reason I get the idea that this is or was an off roading vehicle) there is corrsion in the tank that has scaled off and is plugging the line. This can be tricky to fix since the corrsion is on the inside of the tank.

The best method I have seen for removing scale is to remove the tank, make sure it is gas free and drop a hand full of ball bearing into the tank and shake furiously. Test with water (make sure to comletely drain the water after you are done or you have the same issue) to make sure the lines will flow and reinstall.

You could have something plugging the fuel like. If there is a in-line fuel filter replace it if you have not for a while. You could also have a tiny plug in the fuel line if you disconnect it closest to the engine then blow air in it. This should unplug the line. I had an older ford truck that got a piece of foil from a bottle of fuel additive plugged in the pickup tube once. Watch if you use them to get all the foil off.

Cracked fuel line, bent fuel line, no gas in the tank, or the camshaft lobe for the fuel pump is worn out. I would blow air in the line from the fuel pump to the tank first.

First repsonder is on the right track. Your pickup tube is either broke, OR your fuel lines (either plastic or rubber) have collapsed.
Another option is that your fuel pump may not have enough "push" left in it. (if it is new, then the problem is in the old lines)
