Why does everyone follow that stuff without knowing the other side of the story? We all know god's word, but what about satan's? Maybe god is simply more powerful so he was able to silence what satan wanted to say, but not any more good, and if you follow someone because of the power and not because of their morals doesn't that make you a mentally weak person? Seriously, think about the bible. God has admitted in it to killing all the 1st born children in Egypt, flooding the earth, and sending tons of people to eternal suffering. That makes Hitler look like a novice at genocide, but just imagine what god hasn't admitted to. I mean this is one sick dude. I don't remember Satan ever commiting genocide of the human race, killing babies or sending people to suffer for eternity. Satan seemed to be in the right mind when he rebelled against god...He is a true hero! Willing to risk punishment by the more powerful by standing up for what is truly good..what is more heroic than that?

I don't want answers like It's all fictional, or god isn't real but does anyone else notice how one sided the bible is?

...and how much god seems like hitler with his clever words and one sided propaganda.

What your saying is just the flip-side of the same old biblical coin.

All I can say is, the victors always write history! You have to dig to get the other side of it. Which makes me think of another question that was posted here a few weeks ago. Being, who would you rather interview? God or Satan?

I answered Satan for more or less the same reasons you put forth here. We know a great deal about the nature of God from the bible and all the other holy monotheistic texts. Very little is known about Satan. Consequently, interviewing him might be fascinating.

Of course the bible is one-sided. You can't convince millions of people to believe in something if you spell out the alternatives for them. That might lead them to think and logic is the opposite of faith.

The bible isn't fictional, there are historical accuracies listed in it, but they have been reported with a big bias and slant for the big guy.

And yes, more people have been killed in the name of god, than for any other single reason in human history. That is just a fact, plain and simple.

Why are you expecting the Christian bible to be bipartisan?

The book was but together for the Glorifying of The Christian God, so of course it is going to tell the story from that stand point.

The reason Satan has no say is because there isn't one. No Satan in the Torah.

Clearly you should wait until you actually get to meet him and ask for yourself. No one here has the answer to that question as none of us were around for that particular argument. I am sure you can question any thing you wish at that point and God will be more than happy to explain it all to you. And who knows perhaps you can get his help and perhaps obtain Satan's brand...er....autograph. And since you are already obviously a smoker, you should fit right in with the rest of the "smoking" section. I hope you enjoy it and I wish you luck in your quest for information.

hmm a very interesting concept, althought you sound satanist, its just another flip side of christianity, according to mythology satan was jealous of humans so he challeneged the throne, but he must had done something more, the prophet habakkuk challenged gods wsidom aswell but he was not punished, who know if god lied to us about satan's motives, or if he lied about everything, or if he even exists. But i applaud your thinking out of the box, supposedly satan also challenged jesus in 3 trials, perhaps he is not a thing "a fallen angel" but a concept, a tester, like all religions had a somewhat evil character in it, perhaps satan is just ours...

and about god being an evil thing, in the old testament god was more of a punisher who was to be feared, what has he done lately though? perhpas events today, katrina, wars, earthquakes, had also occured back then but were thought of acts of god,

i have never referred to comics before in my life but this story reminds me of a story i read from a friends comic book,
the silver surfer, he pleaded to galactus to spare his homeworld and thus he was forced to do his bidding to choose what worlds would be consumed by him, perhaps satan is like the silver surfer and god is galactus, and worlds are people, and satan tries to pick who deserves to die, i dont know wabout the consuming part, its very mysterious, but this one of those topics if you pursue too much it will drive you weird, soemtimes u just gotta say **** it im just gunna live a good life the best i can...
very interesting idea, im gunna think about it more i request that you dont choose a best answer for a few days and give me a chance to edit...

I have often wondered what would it be like if the devil had won his rebellion. Would he have just taken over the title and collected the royalties on the book or would he have ended religion. What would Satyan do. I think from reading and watching that Satan is in charge of religion.

I do not care what lies satan comes up with. He hates God, Jesus, the Law of God, and most of all he hates us, and will do and say anything to cause us to not believe God, so the satan does not have to die for our sins, which he is going to do. That is the sins that have been forgiven and laid upon satan to pay for.

you forgot to write how bias against women God is according to the bible! But hold: it is NOT God who wrote all that crapp about himself. You see; the bible says that WE MUST believe what is standing in there or we go to hell. So out of fear we believe it (or most Christians do).
Satan and his brut, they knew that the bible is the best way to decieve mankind and it was him/or one of his chummies that 'wrote' all that crapp about God being responcible for all those things you mentioned and some more. A demon/Satan told Abraham to kill his son, not God! If Abraham would alive today, he would be institutionallized for trying to kill his son 'in the name of God'. EWell, a fatehr who kills his good son to save the bad sounds more like Satan or Dracula to me...Wake up Christians, before it is to late. Nobody dies for your sins but yourself.
PS: in case anyone wonders: I'm a reborn Christian and I follow Jesus example and Gods law, instead of having him killed for me. He does not ned to save me, because I'm not lost anymore since I follow my 'little small voice' and ask GOD. Aslk and you shallrecieve; but only if you like the truth!
