My teeth are still quite sore, and I don't know about having a needle near my gums. It will only have been 12 days since the surgery when I'm scheduled to get 2 cavities filled. I got my teeth out at an oral surgeon, so my dentist did not know about the extraction. Should I cancel my appointment, or do you think I'd be ok by Friday?

I made the cavity appointment before I made my wisdom tooth appointment. It was a very spur of the moment thing. No need for rudeness.

You need to cancel your appointment... That is way too much for your mouth.. You are not properly healed from your oral surgery. Give it 6 weeks before anymore trauma in your mouth. Plus your heart does not need anymore numbing pain medication going thru your system this soon....

You might be okay, but call your Dentist to be sure. There is a risk of infection and he/she would probably know enough about your history to make a call on the timing.

Yes you should make a different appointment. If you go on and do it,your mouth will be killing you.
